Drinking alcoholic beverages during pregnancy, even in small quantities, can have serious consequences for the health of the child.

Curaçao Triple Sec or simply called Triple Sec is a bigarade liqueur. In other words, it is a bitter orange liqueur from the bigaradier. Originally, the bigaradier originated on the island of Curaçao in the Caribbean Sea. So you now understand where the name Curaçao comes from!

Our liqueur is obtained from the alcoholic distillation of bitter orange zest and aromatic plants. From this base, we make many variations by working the alcoholic degree, sugar and color. Thus we get a whole range of curaçaos with different recipes:

And the latest from Maison Briottet: Red 25%

With this beautiful collection, bartenders and mixologists from all over the world have something to use their imagination to create ever more fragrant and colorful cocktails! Moreover, it is now a classic of the bar world.

How to use Curaçao Triple Sec?

In the first place, it is used as a cocktail. Indeed, it is essential for the famous cocktail Cosmopolitan that the series "Sex and the city" has helped to make a must. Likewise, it is necessary for the Margarita, cocktail based on Tequila and Triple Sec.

While in the kitchen, you can enjoy it for tasty pancakes Suzette! For the little trick, think about heating the alcohol before you want to burn it. If you no longer have the recipe in mind, you can find it on our youtube channel with Gérard Briottet (5th generation).

And if you still have trouble making a choice, we slip right here that our Triple Sec was silver medalist at the IWSC 2017 (International Wine and Spirit Challenge). Here it is, it says

Triple Sec is used as an ingredient in many cocktails. Try the "Cosmopolitan": 4 cl of vodka, 2 cl of Briottet Triple Sec Curacao, 2 cl of cranberry juice, and 1 cl of lime juice.

Or " Side Car" : 3 cl Cognac, 3 cl Curaçao Triple Sec Briottet, 3 cl lemon juice or "Mimosa" : 4 cl Champagne, 8 cl orange juice, 0.5 cl Curaçao Triple Sec Briottet.

Or this cocktail recipe : Pegu Club.
