The Sapin liqueur is a plant liqueur at the end of meals. And yes, its alcohol content is 40% so it should be consumed with moderation!

The buds of high Doubs fir are harvested in June, and put to dry in the attics. Maceration in alcohol and distillation in a water bath still.

Finally, the last step is to add sugar to obtain this delicious liqueur.  It gives us this breath of nature so particular deep forests franc-comtois.

As for the tasting, the Sapin liqueur is very interesting for cocktail lovers. If you do not have a Chartreuse, you can replace it with this liqueur. Try for example the cocktail Last Word, you will tell us about news! And if not, you can simply consume it at the end of a meal with an ice cube.
