Recipe idea

François Guy Absinthe carries on a tradition of expertise passed down from father to son. Made exclusively from natural ingredients, it is based on two key ingredients: green aniseed and Grande Absinthe, the latter grown specifically in the Pontarlier region, harvested by hand and dried using traditional methods.
Distillation takes place in century-old copper stills, with the copper playing a vital role in purifying and bringing out the aromas.

This absinthe complies with the thujone (chemical molecule) limit in force in Europe, as well as the specifications for the ‘Absinthe de Pontarlier’ designation (25 to 35 mg/L), guaranteeing the full and complete expression of the distinctive flavour of the absinthe plant. It was awarded Geographical Indication (GI) status in 2019, the highest accolade in the world of spirits.

Serving suggestion: serve from an absinthe fountain, slightly sweetened, to bring out the aromas of aniseed and absinthe.

If you do not have an absinthe fountain, you can serve it directly into a glass and accompany it with chilled water.
