Did you know that rose liqueur has its origins in China, where the scent of roses has been celebrated for centuries ? The most famous variety, Mei Kuei Lu, remains highly prized there. Made from sorghum and rice alcohol, rose extract and sugar, this liqueur, with an alcohol content of over 50%, is, however, a world away from our French interpretation, which is far sweeter and more refined.
